What is Stay at Home Pet Sitting?

Ideal for pets who are elderly, have medical conditions, or sensitive souls who benefit from one on one care. Stay at home pet sitting means your pets can stay in the safety and comfort of their own home. I offer a bespoke service, making sure your animals are as content as possible whilst you're away. As well as love and home comforts, your pets will also be in the care of the same familiar face (it's just me who will be caring for your animals). I am also a Registered Veterinary Nurse so you can go away knowing that any medical needs can be met without question. Another bonus of stay at home pet sitting is I can do little jobs for you (take out your bins, water plants etc). Dogs are not left for more than 4 hours in any one day and if you would rather your dogs were not left alone this can be arranged.

Cats are more independent by nature and so with your permission, I do the occasional vet nursing shift when staying with cats. If you would not like your cats to be left for this period of time it is not a problem.

A Note on Temperament & Safety:

My service is designed to offer a calm environment for sensitive, anxious, elderly, or medically complex pets. Please note that I am unable to accept dogs who are overly boisterous, aggressive or those who cannot walk loose on a lead. If your pet behaves aggressively purely for veterinary handling due to nervousness- I am happy for this to be discussed and managed.

Prices:

Cat stay @ home boarding starts @£50/calendar day (extra £2 per additional cat)

Dog stay @ home boarding starts @£60/calendar day (extra £5 per additional dog)

Bank holiday dates will be £250/day (£300 for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day)

3 cats, 2 rabbits, 1 hamster- £60/calendar day

2 dogs, 2 cats- £69/calendar day

5 dogs, 2 cats- £84/calendar day

1 cat, 3 guinea pigs- £53/calendar day

2 dogs, 4 poultry- £70/calendar day

3 dogs, 15 poultry , 2 cats, fish- £85/calendar day

8 dogs, 4 cats, 2 rabbits- £100/calendar day

2 dogs, 20+ poultry, 10 sheep/goats, 2 donkeys/horses, 2 rabbits, 1 tortoise- £125/calendar day

Please note, if smallholdings have jobs throughout the day (more than AM + PM, this will incur an additional fee of £25/day)
